In the wars of the older days,
cavalry had the most
terrifying position on the
field. Unlike infantry, they
had no easy way to turn and
flee should the tide of
battle turn against them. So
what they did, to fight their
fear was to charge forward
with the fastest speed they
could muster. That way,
even if they felt scared out
of their wits, they would
always move forward.
Lesson: courage sometimes
means just charging what
your fear straight on. ü
